鉴别特征：Pterothoracic pattern very different from that of B. strigata and from that of B. nephelopennis; the pattern is also different in style from that which is most characteristic of the Euphaeidae. The male abdominal appendages are very different in shape from those of B. strigata and those of B. nephelopennis.
