Drosophila (Drosophila) aplophallata Zhang et Toda, 1995
Diagnosis: Dorsal process of aedeagus vestigial, triangular in lateral view. Hypandrial process small, somewhat triangular.
Remark: This species certainly belongs to the D. immigrans species-subgroup, because of the male fore tarsus is ornamented with long, recurved setae, the aedeagus is dorsosubmedially provided with characteristic process and the hypandrium with 1 pair of distinct processes on inner margins, although the last two characters are vestigial.
Distribution: Philippines (Luzon).
