Phyllomya palpalis Shima et Chao, 1992
Remark: This species and the following species Phyllomya angusta Shima & Chao, 1992 and the Japanese species P. aristalis (Mesnil et Shima) are very characteristic in having the almost holoptic male head and 3+3 dc setae on the thorax. The male genitalia of these 3 species also closely resemble each other.
Distribution: China (Yunnan).
