硕士生导师。中国科学院昆明动物研究所副研究员。长期系统研究动物活性蛋白多肽的结构功能、作用机理和生物学意义，也为临床治疗药物、保健品和化妆品的开发提供先导分子。多次获得“973”，“重大新药创制专项”、“国家自然科学基金重点项目”、国家自然科学基金及云南省自然科学基金资助。参与完成一个新药（克洛曲）的临床前和临床研究（已上市）。先后在《Immunity》、《Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis》，《Thrombosis and Haemostasis》，《Journal of Medicinal Chemistry》等国际SCI核心刊物发表论文50余篇；申请专利6项，获省部级科学技术奖2项。在研I类新药2个。
